Case Study: How Cheeky Legends Turned Their Booth To An On-The-Go Sales Tool

About Cheeky Legends

Cheeky Legends is a small, UK-based family-owned business creating humorous greeting cards and gifts with a strong, distinctive brand personality.

Objectives at The Gift Fair USA 2026

Having already participated in a UK edition of the show, Cheeky Legends joined The Gift Fair USA 2026 with clear objectives:

·        Expand their reach to new customers and grow international brand awareness

·        Elevate how they present their products to existing customers

They were looking for more than traditional exposure. They wanted a more effective way to communicate who they are as a brand and how their product fits in the market beyond a standard catalogue.

How We Supported Them

Using the online booth builder, Cheeky Legends created a visually clean and well-structured setup designed to guide buyers through a clear and engaging brand journey.

Rather than acting as a static product listing, the booth was designed to bring the brand to life, creating a more memorable, conversion-focused experience where buyers explored interactively and engaged directly with them in real time.

We've got about a hundred leads to follow up on, which is quite impressive. Based on our experience at other trade shows where we'd typically see twenty or thirty, this is a significant jump. (4)

Ongoing collaboration with the Organizers ensured continuous optimization. Through regular feedback, the booth was refined to improve:

In parallel, Cheeky Legends made the most of the Organizers marketing and exhibitor promotion. Being featured in campaigns and benefiting from targeted traffic to their booth helped increase visibility and sustain engagement throughout the show.

Results: A New Way to Sell With Measurable ROI

The impact on brand presentation was immediate, with David Little rating the experience "10 out of 10" for showcasing their brand to existing customers.

Beyond the trade show, their digital booth evolved into a powerful sales tool. The team used their online booth during customer calls and retail visits, sharing their screen to present their collection in real time, delivering a far more memorable experience than a traditional catalogue.

From a commercial perspective, the results were equally strong.
Across three shows, Cheeky Legends generated over 100 high-quality leads, highlighting how meaningful opportunities can be generated more efficiently and cost-effectively than through traditional methods.

Ultimately, the platform became a portable, always-on sales asset — enabling the team to present their products to anyone, at any time, from anywhere, extending the value beyond the show itself.
